Joshua 3: 1-17
God will do a great thing! He will make a way through. It is amazing to consider the works of God on behalf of people, in many circumstances. Thinking back to the journey of 40 years of The Jewish people, God’s provision, water from a rock, manna from heaven, a dry path across the Red Sea…….and now the waters of the Jordan River standing in a heap while the people cross on dry ground.
Should I not consider this same God, continues to do the miraculous on our behalf so that we have a place to put our trust, confidence and hope?
Thomas, one of the disciples said; “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief”. Is that not true of me.
“Only be strong and courageous”. Strength and courage, come through obedience. Will we encourage each other to obey in order to grow in strength and courage? Again, the evidence is overwhelming, we are called as Christ followers to walk out our faith together, NOT alone!
