Joshua 4: 1-24
These stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever! I like the fact that the Lord God is interested in future generations knowing what he has done for us in the past.
I don’t want to live in the past, or make the past an idol, however I do want the future generations to know the God of heaven, that he has done great things then, and he is capable of doing great things in their day.
It’s good to look back to remember the ways God worked, provided and redeemed the circumstances of life. Those points in my journey offer the reminder to hope, confidence and opportunity. God is still God, doing the miraculous, so that we can know that he is God! Remembering, restoring confidence, offering comfort and hope!
In the difficulty He can be found trust worthy!
