Hebrews 1: 1-14
Long ago God spoke to our fathers through prophets, but now He spoke to us through His Son. The Author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is the All in All. He has been given everything and He controls everything and everything is subjected to Him. He is God, sovereign, holy, just, and eternal, he is the creator, and sustainer nothing happens without his consent and his plans are not overthrown. Everything that happens in the world or in my life comes through his hands first.
All of that to say that I am processing the events in this country and the world, in light of the gospel and the author and perfecter of my faith. Don’t lose hope, hold tight to the one who has the authority to redeem, and sustain. I’m preaching this to myself. It is easy to get lost in all the noise of the news, which clouds the REAL news.
Holding fast to the faith in Jesus Christ and be kind to whoever you see at the shipper and receivers, you don’t know what they are going through. A mighty fortress is our God!!!
