Mark chapter 1
These short accounts of Jesus in this first chapter of Mark reminds me that each one of the disciples are unique. As we are all different in personality, yet we are all in need of the grace of God. Unclean spirits, ill with a fever, lepers, and more. The common thing, all in need of something outside of themselves. This is still true today, sickness, addiction and sin, all need the healer.
Sin is the main reason for a savior, as it has impacted all of us. So then I preach the gospel to myself often, remembering my own need, and the need of all humanity. Basking in the good news of the gospel.
