Joshua 9: 1-27
Fear leads to deception, and that never ends well. I can read chapters like this, find myself on both sides of the story. Commitment made, and commitment broken. Fear of man leading to deception (sin). Trusting in the sovereign God is always best. Rather and too often, I have run ahead without asking God for his leading, I run into the soon to be a problem of my own making. Success sometimes gives birth to overconfidence, I’m all that and a bag of chips attitude.
The good news, my past is redeemed, as is my present which carries all the way to the future. Now that is worth giving God glory and praise!
I am praying that you trust God this week and that God provides you with safety while you are on the roadways.
