Hebrews 4: 1-13
It is so easy for us to jump to Heb 4:11-13 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Everyone knows these verses and many can quote because it was a memory verse at some time in their Christian walk. But I believe that Heb 4:1-10 is a very strong reminder that we as Christians can not become complacent in our daily walk.
For those of us that have heard the good news because God has regenerated our hearts to accept the good news, Let us not hardened our hearts with disbelief, but let us be united with Christ and let our faith be shown through the works that God has equipped us to do for His Glory that we may enter his rest.
