Hebrews 1:14
Being a good listener does not come naturally for me. Listening is a
learned skill, practice is required, being alert to my own lack of
listening is also important. Good questions help with the development of
becoming a good listener, yet that has its own pitfalls. Today’s passage
concludes with a great question, v 14; “Are they not all ministering
spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit
salvation?”
Angels sent out to serve Christians. Jesus loves us so much that he sends angels to serve us while we walk this walk waiting for the Author and perfecter of our faith to constantly refine us into His image.
Evidence of this fact, we do not face difficulties alone! God is not
passive, my life does not consist of random changes, rather a sovereign
God, engaged in our lives to work and will of his good pleasure. Oh yes
that leads to more good questions, and God is not afraid of our questions,
he welcomes us to ask. Now there is a whole new question, is he obligated
to answer? That is for another day.
Hold fast to the faith in Jesus Christ and be kind to whoever you see at the shipper and receivers, you don’t know what they are going through.
May peace dwell in our hearts!!
