Mark 16: 1-20
A resurrected Christ, do you remember Jesus asking Peter, who do they say that I am? Then he asked Peter, and who do You say I am? Peter replied, You are the Christ, the son of the living God! We are not asked to believe in an idea of a risen Christ, we are invited to believe (put our faith, hope and with full confidence) in this very real, risen Christ Jesus! Yes the son of the living God!
We can hold the Bible in our hands, read the truth of our sinful condition, be amazed at the cost of our redemption and sense the height, width, length and depth of His love for us. How can I neglect such a great salvation?
By your Holy Spirit, you have convinced me of my sin, invited me into confession and repentance, given peace and forgiveness and a seat at the dinner table as family. Still I am in need of your help every day!
