As part of our 50-year celebration, we have had some amazing events this year.
Bible Drive
$2,000 raised for Bibles
Fairways to Highways 4th Annual Golf Outing
104 golfers registered—over $35,000 raised—one fun day of golf
50th Celebration Dinner
150 in attendance—raising over $16,000—great food and fellowship
Ministry News
Highway Connections has hired a full-time executive director, B.J. Marshall. B.J. brings experience from working in both non-profits and the trucking industry. He has served a pastor and board member before coming on staff. His heart is to see those in the trucking community grow in their walk with God and to see truck drivers and their families be connected with the local church.
Highway Connections continues to increase our presence on social media. We have started his year a TikTok channel in addition to our other social media platforms to continue producing uplifting video and audio material. (follow, like, subscribe!)
Your Help is Needed:
Highway Connections is always looking for people with a heart to see the Word of God, the Bible, put into the hands of those who need to know Jesus.
- Right now, the needs are for monthly donors to help cover the cost of:
- Purchase & Shipping of Bibles to distributors
- Producing quality video
- Creating quality audio
- Driver Enrichment Material: creation, production, and distribution
