Mark 11: 1-33
A lesson from the withered fig tree; “Have faith in God.” “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
How often have I held on to an offense, unwilling to forgive! And how often have I experienced forgiveness, yet lived in the contamination of unforgiving? Like the fig tree, that had no fruit, my unforgiving kept me fruitless.
Oh that I would run to the one who has set the example of forgiveness and repent for my lack of compassion, and forgiveness!
Final thought; restoration is the byproduct of forgiveness. Restoration is an evidence that something was broken and in need of a capable restoration expert, Jesus is the one!
