Mark 9: 1-50
Life events happen, back then and now. The only thing that is different is the period of time in history. Our human condition is the same, sin, doubt, fear and pride. We (me) believe that, we have it all figured out, life is under control and the course of life is well defined and mapped out. But not so much… the collision of a a sovereign God and our human frailty in the intersection of living, brings about the clear evidence of God. Yup, God sent his son to pay the price for the sins of the world, providing redemption, new life purpose and a solid foundation to build a life on! His Spirit to teach, in dwelling us, protecting and converting us.
So, our greatness comes from serving others out of how we have been served by Jesus. So contrary to how I think, when left to my own thinking.
