2 Peter 1:16-chapter 2

Contrast, those who were eye witnesses to the life of Christ, and we who are privileged to read the accounts of those eyewitnesses. The contrast is glaring, two people who witnessed in person the life and works of Jesus, one seeing his or her spiritual neediness and brokenness, while the other sees an interruption of their self righteous life of comfort. Bold and willful, self appointed little gods… heading for destruction.

The wisdom of letting the word of God, by the spirit of God, examine my life. Because left to myself, disaster would result. It’s glaring, I need a savior, and that I have. By grace through faith… that’s the life I wish to live.
