How then shall we live?

1 Peter 3:8-22
Frances Shaffer, wrote a book titled, “How then shall we live?” In these few verses that question is answered. It could be said, the text is easy to read, challenging to hear and difficult to actually live out the instruction. Consider “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Without the spirit of God I could not keep these instructions offered in this one verse. Another proof of our need for authentic friendship, where truth can be spoken, grace is given and received, out of humility and kindness! Consider this, it is a gift from God to have real friendships. We have not been designed to go it alone. In these realities, I must honor God, having a clear conscience, able to give a reason for the hope that is in me, with gentleness and respect.
